Joe and Tim worked closely with me on refurbishing an old dilapidated redwood deck this summer (Aug 2023). This was truly a custom project. In addition to cosmetic issues, there were some difficult structural challenges and they were up to the task. Their team of diligent workers were hard working, polite, fun and experienced. The foreman was an ace at precision cuts. The job was completed without interruption over three weeks and I was kept apprised every day. My view of this deck has changed from wide eyed dismay to complete pleasure because of the renovation. Last summer Cottonwood Custom put in two new composite decks on our home. The work was12 to 20 feet off the ground, included picture frame style blocking, stairs, and iron railing. We love the decks. They add significant value and enjoyment to our home. The framing work is impressively sturdy and the quality seems a cut above. Couldn’t ask for a nicer, cleaner crew. Most of the old wood could not be reused as planned, resulting in a huge cost increase. Tim and Joe were compassionate and fair as they worked with us on the final cost. They even spent time training us so we could do some work ourselves. Outstanding company and people- easy to positively recommend!
