Buying a home can be a very daunting process. Cottonwood Custom can give you peace of mind when it comes to the deck aspect of the purchase. Making sure that the deck on your new home can handle large family gatherings, birthday parties, sunday brunch, or just a few friends over for a visit. Cottonwood Custom will provide you with a full report of the current condition of the deck and the best steps to take moving forward. This includes pictures, scope of repairs, and estimated costs associated with each area of concern. If you (the homeowner) choose to have Cottonwood Custom complete the work the invoiced amount will show a $100 credit from the inspection. The payment of $200 is due at the time of the inspection, and covers Salt Lake County. An additional $50 fee will be added for Utah, Davis, Tooele, and Summit Counties.

Are you the type of homeowner that wants to tackle the build of your new deck yourself? Saving money along the way? Cottonwood Custom can help you along with this process. You’ll receive a deck design and rendering of the new deck along with stamped structural and engineered plans. Assisting with the application process of the plans to your city’s building department as well. Along with the above mentioned documents, you’ll receive 3 site visits included in the cost. The first site visit we will discuss the dream, design, and materials. The second and third are up to you. Need help with the initial framing? Maybe questions on the decking and railing installation? Additionally you will receive a detailed materials list for your project. This will help you order the correct quantities of lumber, hardware, decking, and railing.
For those homeowners that want to do the project right. Permitted through the city, and with a design and plans to move forward on the project efficiently, effectively, and confidently.
$2,000 - Up to 500 sq ft.
$2,250 - Up to 1000 sq ft.
$2,500 - Up to 1500 sq ft.
$2,750 - 1500 sq ft and bigger.
